The eOTD is an ISO 22745 compliant dictionary managed by ECCMA, it is an open
technical dictionary of cataloging concepts used to create unambiguous language
independent descriptions of individuals, organizations, locations, goods and services.

1. Search Textbox
The below options are available to Search a Concept.
a. Search using Term/Concept ID
b. Search using Definition
You can search by typing a specific term or using a concept ID to find pertinent
information. This flexible approach ensures quick retrieval of relevant content.
Choose the "Term/Concept ID" option and then search by entering a specific term or using a
concept ID to quickly find the information you need.

Choose the “Definition" option and then
search by entering a specific Definition to
quickly find the information you need.
2. Search Concept Type
Clicking on the Concept type "Class"
will trigger a search using the Class
name or class ID, while selecting
"Property" will display information
associated with the respective
property. This principle applies
consistently across all Concept types,
adapting according to their unique
identifiers.
3. Search Pattern
Contains search pattern that identifies specific terms within larger content.

Search Operators
Description
Start with Filter item that have descriptions which start with search text.
Related Filter item that have descriptions which match a pattern.
Exact Filter item that have descriptions which match exactly.
5. Advanced Search
Explore the potential of Advanced Search for enhanced search experiences. This collapsible
panel offers insights into using advanced search preferences and obtain precise results.
4. Terms Per Page
Certainly, you can specify the number of terms you
would like to view in a page, whether it's 10 terms or
20 terms, according to your preference and need.
The below options are available in the advanced search.
a. LANGUAGE
b. ORGANIZATION
c. DEFINITION UNDER DEVELOPMENT
d. ABBREVIATION
e. NAIN
Click on “Show Advanced Search“ to show the Advanced Search Panel
Click on “Hide Advance Search“ to hide Advanced Search Panel
a. LANGUAGE
Specify the preferred language to narrow down search results to
content available in that language.
b. ORGANIZATION
Refine searches by identifying a specific organization to find
information associated with it.
c. DEFINITION UNDER DEVELOPMENT
On checking this check box, includes the terms
without definition in the search results."
6. Language You can effortlessly select your preferred language from the provided
options, tailoring your experience to your linguistic preferences.
d. ABBREVIATION
e. NAIN
On checking this check box, includes NAIN in the search results.
Non-Approved Item Name (NAIN): A name given to an item of
supply by a Government activity when an appropriate Approved
Item Name does not exist."
On checking this check box, will results the terms with Abbreviation.
In search results, each rectangular block represents the information of a concept.
7(a) Search results
To access the entire content, click on "Load More."
This action will provide you with the complete
information available for that concept.
For a shorter content view, choose "Load
Less." This option will present the
information in a more concise format.

8. Concept Detail Page
When you click on the term, you'll be
taken to a page where more information
like definitions and translations of the
concept are available. This quick access
helps to understand about the term
better.
